Default SATELLIT 750 DOES NOT HAVE DSP

I just received an email from Walter Hess at Eton stating that their
website is incorrect and will be corrected shortly. He states that
the new Grundig Satellit 750 does NOT have DSP.

Ah, no surprise there. Seemed questionable from the outset,
especially given the lack of any elaboration on the DSP capabilities
in the product literature. Another minus, of course, is the absence
of synchronous detection.

Retro styling, a decently-sized speaker and a rotatable MW antenna
count for something; but the $300 price tag still doesn't seem quite
justified.

Good that they corrected it before deliveries started. I think
Universal has the same language on their site. I would forgo DSP for
fine tuning and true USB/LSB rather than a tunable bfo.
