These are in OGG format and should open in a normal Web Browser. If not,
please download them and use a media player instead. The files are about
two minutes long each, which equates to about 2mb a file.

That's really strange as my MW band this morning at 0400z, which is
pre sunrise optimal time for very long distance reception, was dead as
a doornail.

Glad you had a good break as the good openings don't often happen.

Good DX and have fun.

No KOMO One Thousand?

It comes in here via some kind of duct. Not a regular MWDX signal at
all, i.e. it never selectively fades. It'll get weaker and stronger,
but it never flanges.

I'm between Palmdale and Oxnard, about 1,800' above the fishes.

Here in South Florida, WHPT(Philly) WBBR(1130) WINS(1010) booming in.
I use the Terk Advantage AM loop with my Super Radio III. Most east
coast stuff is coming in really good, WBT(Charlotte) and WSB(Atlanta)
also. Mosty my reception is overloaded with Cubans, especially
WCBS(880) sometimes gets run over with Radio Progresso.

You can cut the size in half if you convert to mono first. Audacity
can do it. Split the tracks, then convert to mono. videolan.org for
those who can't play ogg.

The KGO bit was regarding spraying for the light green apple moth. The
freakin' ag lobby has the governator by the nuts (OK, campaign
contribution), and will do one of their infamous aerial chemical
dumpings.

The KFBK clip sounds really good. Well, not the content of course, but
the sound quality.
