"Weakening Signals: The Listener Signs Off at a Time When Radio's
Future Is Fuzzy" "The next decade or more will be a transitional time, as radio, like newspapers and television networks, forswears allegiance to any one means of distribution and declares itself platform-agnostic. Those media that, like the record industry, cling to old technology and a collapsed business model will see their futures crumble before their eyes." http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...052903285.html Sad, isn't it Eduardo? Big Radio has destroyed what once was a viable medium. |

Big Radio has destroyed what once was a viable medium. As more of "them thair middle income" folk with disposable income loose more money and join the ranks of low income, they will not be able to afford sat radios or much less anything with high enough bandwidth for audio. Do you realize what most people pay a month of crap? $80 for cable/ sat TV, another $30 for radio and yet again $50 for HS internet! One does not need this to feed the baby and will be some of the first things to go on a foreclosure or bankruptcy budget |
