Mr. Gasbag is not really a conservative. He's just an actor playing
one on the radio. He started his career in radio by playing Jeff Cristy, a wanabee cool rock 'n' roll DJ. The untalented slob got fired twice as Jeff Cristy. Fearing he might actually have to work for a living Mr. Gasbag re- invented himself into Rush Limbaugh the ultra-conservative and to his surprise the public bought it. Expanding his role to that of errand boy for the corporate elite rulers, he has laughed all the way to the bank ever since. |

You ain't worth your salt as a DJ if you have not been fired several times. Yeah, millions and millions who listen weekly, generally making the "Rush Station" stand at or near the top of local ratings all over the nation. Expanding his role to that of errand boy for the corporate elite rulers, he has laughed all the way to the bank ever since. He's entertaining. |

You can criticize him but he's smarter than you, makes more money than you and has influenced many more people than you ever will. And no, I don't necessarily agree with him. |

He is nasty and rude and seems to have a very low opinion of most people. This country cannot survive this kind of bitterness. It is fouling the atmosphere, like a stinky cigar. |
