Which study manual do you think is better - Gordon West or ARRL??

Thanks.

Obviously a 'personal preference' question, but the ARRL gets my vote.

Good luck with getting that ticket!

This one is free. If you read it a couple times and understand some
theory, you're good to go:

I like the Gordon West study guide. I think it's 6 of one half a dozen of
the other really. You can't go wrong with either one.

I am currently studying for my Extra Class as well. I have passed both
the Technician and General Class very recently (35/35 and 31/35) both
with the ARRL License Manuals. I highly recommend them, because I as
able to not only pass the technician test but two weeks later I passed
the general class using the same study methods from the ARRL License
Manuals. I also recommend taking the practice tests online at
KB0MGA.net . These are the most recent question pools and a very
realistic preview of the tests format.

Good Luck, and 73's
