Please contact your Senator and Representative immediately and urge
them to increase the taxpayer bailout monies. As everyone knows the dollars required to bail out Wall Street and the bankers will ultimately run into the trillions. The $700,000,000,000 is a good first step but we need more. Granted success of the bailout is dubious at best but please consider this: my 401k pension is directily tied into the stock market so I need the taxpayers to help insure that my stock market investments don't go broke. I'm a conservative free market ecomomy type of guy but this is different. This is about being able to sustain the great lifestyle I've enjoyed my entire life courtesy of you the taxpayer. You see, I am a retired government employee. I enjoyed the good life on your dime for 32 years before retiring. As you can see (below) the lucrative benefits provided for me along with a very generous salary, me and my family are accustomed to living the good life. And I don't think it is fair to me if I cannot continue to do so. Frankly I don't think I am out of line expecting you to continue to fund my lifestyle because I earned it. I understand that none of you received the benefits you worked hard to provide me and my family but that really is of no concern to me. I have to do what is right for me and my family during this perilous ecomomic time. So please contact your Senator and Representative immediately and urge them to increase the bailout package! As always I'm just another plain old Mister-Know-It-All ! Retired, Healthy and Free ! -Hey- That's Me ![]() Click on my profile to find out more about me, I really am quite a fellow!
