RCA 7-2887 Superadio III Portable AM/FM Radio
Wal-Mart was selling these last week. Out of 3 that I purchased, one was
close enough on the dial to keep, the rest were way off and returned. Yep,
right back on the shelf after explaining the reason for return.
Are these maybe returns or like, that Wal-mart has bought up to sell? I
know that sometimes they get items and clear them out very similar to
Liquidation World.

These started showing up a few months ago on various websites. I
purchased one from Amazon.com and the dial is fairly accurate on it
also. In fact, it appears to be a gem. Amazon still have some left
in stock with free shipping.

Dial calibration was generally poor on the GE badged SR III's as well.
