You used to say I was lying about being a college professor. Then you
called the schools I've taught at and tried to convince them that I
was claiming to have a PhD.

You did claim to have a PhD.

They laughed at you when they got off the
phone, because I've never obtained a teaching position by claiming to
have a PhD.

In reality, they were laughing at you, just like the woman in the Wayne State records
office was doing!

If anything, my superiors can't understand why I would
bother communicating with a loser with psychotic tendencies like
yourself.

Psychotic is claiming to have a PhD.

Come to think of it, there probably is no good justification for
communicating with you.

Awesome!

A total waste of time and effort.

Yep, your attempts to obtain a PhD were just that, agreed!

That pretty
much sums the totality of your contributions to the human race.

Not only have you failed to obtain a PhD, but you are very poor at sums as well.

Yep. Other people that read your posts rate them with one to five
stars. Your posts generally come closer to negative numbers. RHF also
seems to collect an incredible amount of single stars. Generally it
proves that a lot of other folks agree that your posts are a general
waste of time and effort to read.

But, hey, that's kind of obvious....since you even lack the ability to
come up with a fresh insult in the last nine years.

I did leave for awhile, but it had nothing to do with your constant
posts on the status of my educational attainment.

Educational attainment? What you meant to say was lying about having a PhD.

Right now you're at 22 single star evaluations of your posts in this
thread. No one has found anything you've posted in this thread to be
worth more than a single star evaluation. Pretty much mirrors the
impact you have on the world in general.

I don't live my life via the polls like you Liberal/Democrat/Marxists.

Almost all have left. I've tried on here over the past few months. I
really have.

The spam and childish infighting is making these group all but
unreadable anymore.

There are some good yahoo groups like DXLD and other shortwave
groups.

This group has slowly been reduced to it's lowest common denominator.
It's no longer worth monitoring for any useful shortwave information.
I occasionally check to see if anything has improved but it appears to
be hopeless. There are plenty of other shortwave groups and forums where
you can participate without expecting to see your post hijacked and then
deteriorate into a food fight. You also won't have to waste your time
keeping kill files up to date. The subject of a moderator comes up now
and then but don't expect that to ever happen. In fact, it's time for
Usenet to cancel this group. Then perhaps someone can start a new
moderated Usenet shortwave group.

You are spot on the mark. Several years ago this was a fantastic site
for shortwave information. The best and the brightest contributers are
no longer here because they grew sick and tired of
wading through his never ending barrage of garbage.

It is a real shame because they are veteran shortwavers who
love the hobby who want to preserve it and pass along their expertise
to others considering taking up our wonderful hobby. Classy
individuals who are willing to share their time helping newbies, but
too well balanced and socially adjusted to waste large chunks of
their time dealing with the lonely losers who currently dominate rrs.

The destruction of the group is the work of a relatively small number
of posters but one individual - ROY FISK of Twain Harte, California
has done the most damage. A click on his profile reveals that he has
made 20,680 postings as of today. He has changed email addys several
times so the number of his postings is actually much higher - well
over 30,000.

He is a retired government bureaucRAT who has nothing but free time
and uses it to destroy rec.radio.shortwave by changing the subject
heading of nearly every posting. Thereby effectively eliminating rrs
as a useful resource for shortwavers because it makes browsing the
group for shortwave info virtually impossible.

What he is doing to this group is equivalent of walking into your
local library and ripping up its card catalog everyday.

That is why the great guys from the past don't even bother to browse
and contribute here anymore - even if the original postings are about
shortwave they can't find it because the header has been changed to
whatever off topic bs Roy Fisk changes it to.

What is interesting is that goofballs like you always show up and
complain about the state of the news group but never contribute any
worthwhile posts themselves.

This is an active news group with no chance of it being killed off.

This news group will not ever be moderated as it was not created that
way.
