The only issue the original poster brought up was that of unscrupulous
people taking advantage of the analog switchoff to sell the innocent a
bill of goods. And trying to counteract that with a web site and
letters to the media.

How does that have anything to do with capitalism vs socialism,
retaining free TV, or with consolidation of the TV industry? Please
explain. These might be topics for other discussions, perhaps even
interesting ones, but IMO unrelated to the con artists the OP was
talking about.
