You've obviously never had even a basic public speaking class; i.e., your ignorance is showing. You are -supposed- to look at ALL of your audience, not just stare woodenly straight ahead. And you are supposed to look at the audience straight ahead of you occasionally as well, and especially if some of that audience is seeing you on camera. Hussein wags his head back and forth to the same two spots, the two teleprompter screens, he isn't looking at the audience. Do attempt to keep up. Obama's use of the teleprompter was well known during his campaign. This is news? Republican, Democrat...it is well known they A-L-L use Teleprompters. Gee, whatta big surprise. Not every time the get up to speak, especially at press conferences. Hussein can't say anything off the cuff, if he did he would fall flat on his face. He has to have a teleprompter to tell him what his is supposed to say. Your ignorance is astounding. |

They certainly could hold a press conference without one, something Hussein can't do. I bet he has a teleprompter set up at the dinner table so he knows how to respond to Michelle and the kids. Wouldn't be at all surprised that he makes Michelle and the kids submit any questions they may have in advance so his writer can prepare the answer for the teleprompter. Whenever he speaks his head wags back and forth like he is watching a tennis match. The "tennis match" thing appears to be a clever talking point. Presidents have always had written notes and prepared texts. *When winging it, a pause to reflect before talking is not a sign of anything other than a careful mind. Notes are common for any speaker to help keep one on track and notes are notes, not the entire speech. Much different than having every word to be said read from a teleprompter. 111555 |

Laura Ingraham calls him the "the tennis match" president. But since she has less than 1% of actual public support, who wares what she thinks? She is one of the people conducting the GOPs yard sale of conservative memorabilia right now. and now we see how Obama handles a disaster.... *remember how you treated Bush when he was handed disasters like Katrina? Lets put Hussein in Bush's shoes when Bush went to N.O. to speak about Katrina. There would stand Hussein with two teleprompter screens on each side, displaying words written by someone else, telling him what he should say. |

So Obama should be just like Bush -- perpetually putting his foot in his mouth? Bush swallowed his shoes so many times that *half a dozen* books were written about his verbal blunders. Bush's latest blunder was just last night giving a speech in Canada, where he said "authoritarian" when he meant "authoritative". Poor George, maybe he should consider using a teleprompter. P.S. I thought I remember seeing the teleprompters on the wide shots when Bush was in New Orleans. |

I heard on my radio this morning, the City of N'Awlins population is
back to where it was before Katrina, and growing. That Dennis Hastert (I think that is him) guy and that Dale Summers retired radio talk show guy once said New Orleans shouldn't be rebuilt.I wonder if Dale Summers thinks Cincinatti should be rebuilt if something as disastrous as a ''Katrina'' flooded Cincinatti? Those two guys are Full of S.IT! cuhulin |

All Hussein can do is read what someone else wrote on the damn thing, he can't even begin to think for himself. Bush's latest blunder was just last night giving a speech in Canada, where he said "authoritarian" when he meant "authoritative". Poor George, maybe he should consider using a teleprompter. You mean like one of the few times Hussein spoke off the cuff without his teleprompter and said you treat asthma with a breathalyzer, no, an inhailator. Here is what the fool sounds without his script. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxxxGUeZtno P.S. I thought I remember seeing the teleprompters on the wide shots when Bush was in New Orleans. I don't think you did. |
