With the proper crystals for the SWBC bands, an R-4B makes
a very nice receiver.

PBT, preselector, IF notch, etc.

dxAce Michigan USA

And, as always, don't let your children attend Louisville
Technical Institute. They've hired at least one dufus who
once claimed to have a PhD, and who knows, there may be
more dufi there.

I had an R-4C for a while, it didn't work too well, it
needed work. I
was able to sell it almost instantly for a nice profit. I
would like to find another one, that actually works well,
again some day. But I would rather have a Hammarlund HQ-180A
instead.

Thought I'd pass this along... but be warned, it's a HEFTY

Thanks, but I have no money for any new toys right now. Besides,
turning the HQ-100 on alone makes this room about 5 degrees
warmer in the spring and summer, enough to take it from "okay" to
"miserable". A bigger tube rig would end up being a very heavy
paperweight.

You would not know what to do with it.

Poor Telemundoh, tripping the kook fantastic. I have to ask you a
serious question, do you really think I don't have the receivers I
claim to have? I've been listening to SW radio for about 45 years,
Telemundoh, and have owned many top of the line receivers, and still
own several.

Are you really that far gone you can't look at my old posts? Well, it
shouldn't surprise me, with your Obama BC delusions and all.

What a kooktard. Your only comment on a classic tube radio is it makes
the room to warm in the summer and it's a paper weight. Poor baby.

ROTFL. You need to learn to read with comprehension, Telemundoh. My HQ-
100 makes the room uncomfortable in the summer, so a larger radio, WITH
MORE TUBES IN IT, would make the room even warmer, so I would never use
it half the year or more, making it an expensive, big paper weight. If I
don't use a radio, I usually don't keep it. I have 3 main rigs already,
the two NRD's and the Kenwood, so I don't need any more receivers right
now.

What you have is a great imagination not radios and if you did they
would be paperweights to you.

Wow, you've really gone 'round the bend. Hilarious.

I guess the concept of a bigger radio = more heat is beyond your
comprehension.

I'll have to post a vid to youtube video of my rigs, just for you. Don't
hold your breath, lunatic, since I don't have a camcorder right now.
Knowing you, you'll claim they belong to someone else, and I just
"borrowed" them, or some other tap dancing lunacy you can dream up.

Or I could just have Fred Osterman call you from Universal Radio, and
tell you I've been a customer there since 1984, and spent a lot of money
there for radios and RTTY equipment you claim I've never owned, but that
would be awkward, explaining there's a loon on usenet who "thinks" I
don't own any of the many receivers I've bought from him over the last
25 years.

I've even been taken on the "cat tour" by his wife. If you don't know
about the cats, go to the website.

Like a little kid, or your fellow slow adults, everything has to be
spelled out to the nth degree with you poor *******s.

So I'll explain this to you.

Have you put on your tinfoil helmet yet? I hope you have a new upgraded
one with the tri metal foil in it, or the Baritol rays will kook what
little brain matter you've got left..

First thing you need to understand is that you are a clueless asshole.

That would be a better description of you, Telemundoh.

The next thing you need to understand is you
are not not using the same lexicon as the other people in the news
group.

Again, this describes you much better than it does me.

This together with an immense reading comprehension problem
guarantees that communication of concepts won't happen.

you'll be buying into? FEMA camps? Autoracks with chains in them being

I have a National NC-125 with a Q Multiplier.

At one time, I considered adding a Q-Multiplier to the HQ-180AC but
never got around to it. I did have a HC-10 hooked into the SP-600 and it
was a fairly good combo but I had problems with audio pops coming off
the HC-10.

I've only used Hammarlunds and the Motorola R-390A and did pick up any
more boatanchors.

How is the National NC-125?

which model do you have? I had the opportunity to use the SP- 600 that
was the military grade, what a fine receiver.

Like a little kid, or your fellow slow adults, everything has to be
spelled out to the nth degree with you poor *******s.

So I'll explain this to you. First thing you need to understand is that
you are a clueless asshole. The next thing you need to understand is you
are not not using the same lexicon as the other people in the news
group. This together with an immense reading comprehension problem
guarantees that communication of concepts won't happen.

Telemundoh: All kooktardery, all the time.

BDK all trolling retard all the time.

Telemundoh, there are times when I think that you can't be a bigger
idiot than you are. And then you go prove me wrong.

I think you are the idiot for buying the BDK line.

LOL, what line is that, Telemundoh?

No one with a shard of common sense could have misinterpreted BDK's
comments. They were flat out easy to understand and the meaning was
crystal clear to anyone with a scrap of intelligence.

I think I have the right interpretation.

Like you do about the Obama BC "story"?

I guess it can serve as fodder for a new conspiracy for you.

Yeah, The BDKookaburra conspiracy.

You poor kook. Why won't anyone help you?

Wow, you've really gone 'round the bend. Hilarious.

I guess the concept of a bigger radio = more heat is beyond your
comprehension.

I'll have to post a vid to youtube video of my rigs, just for you. Don't
hold your breath, lunatic, since I don't have a camcorder right now.
Knowing you, you'll claim they belong to someone else, and I just
"borrowed" them, or some other tap dancing lunacy you can dream up.

Or I could just have Fred Osterman call you from Universal Radio, and
tell you I've been a customer there since 1984, and spent a lot of money
there for radios and RTTY equipment you claim I've never owned, but that
would be awkward, explaining there's a loon on usenet who "thinks" I
don't own any of the many receivers I've bought from him over the last
25 years. *

I read fine, Telemundoh. So what will be the next kooktardic conspiracy
you'll be buying into? FEMA camps? Autoracks with chains in them being
prisoner transports with shackles in them?

Telemundoh: All kooktardery, all the time.

BDK all trolling retard all the time.

I admit trolling for you, Telemundoh, but you're the one biting.

Biting the big one, as always.

He's just jerking you around BDK and IMO at least....you're kind of
falling for it. ;-) I believe you have radios FWIW. Relax. :-)

You're 180 degrees off, IMO. I couldn't care less if he believes I own
the radios I own, any clown could do a google search and figure out I've
had most of them for well over a decade. It's fun to read his angry
posts, and his kooktardic venom is hilarious.

I don't care about you. None care about a kooktard.

Not to mention his Obama BC nonsense. That belief alone moves him to the
upper levels of kooktardery. I wonder where his next kooktardic trip
will take him. FEMA camp? I think Telemundoh should take a trip to Beech
Grove this summer, and post a report. Could be a lot of laughs.

Let's not mention your continual nonsense Kookaburra.
