No shipping to Canada? I'd like to bid.

International Postal money orders make life easy..and USPS is cheaper
than UPS. The Post Office doesn't abuse the packages as much, either.
usually..

With the proper crystals for the SWBC bands, an R-4B makes a very nice receiver.

PBT, preselector, IF notch, etc.

And, as always, don't let your children attend Louisville Technical Institute.
They've hired at least one dufus who once claimed to have a PhD, and who knows,
there may be more dufi there.

I had an R-4C for a while, it didn't work too well, it needed work. I
was able to sell it almost instantly for a nice profit. I would like to
find another one, that actually works well, again some day. But I would
rather have a Hammarlund HQ-180A instead.

Thought I'd pass this along... but be warned, it's a HEFTY price:

Thanks, but I have no money for any new toys right now. Besides, turning
the HQ-100 on alone makes this room about 5 degrees warmer in the spring
and summer, enough to take it from "okay" to "miserable". A bigger tube
rig would end up being a very heavy paperweight.

Poor Telemundoh, tripping the kook fantastic. I have to ask you a
serious question, do you really think I don't have the receivers I
claim to have? I've been listening to SW radio for about 45 years,
Telemundoh, and have owned many top of the line receivers, and still
own several.

Are you really that far gone you can't look at my old posts? Well, it
shouldn't surprise me, with your Obama BC delusions and all.

What a kooktard. Your only comment on a classic tube radio is it makes
the room to warm in the summer and it's a paper weight. Poor baby.

ROTFL. You need to learn to read with comprehension, Telemundoh. My HQ-
100 makes the room uncomfortable in the summer, so a larger radio, WITH
MORE TUBES IN IT, would make the room even warmer, so I would never use
it half the year or more, making it an expensive, big paper weight. If I
don't use a radio, I usually don't keep it. I have 3 main rigs already,
the two NRD's and the Kenwood, so I don't need any more receivers right
now.

Like a little kid, or your fellow slow adults, everything has to be
spelled out to the nth degree with you poor *******s.

Telemundoh: All kooktardery, all the time.

What you have is a great imagination not radios and if you did they
would be paperweights to you.

Like a little kid, or your fellow slow adults, everything has to be
spelled out to the nth degree with you poor *******s.

So I'll explain this to you. First thing you need to understand is that
you are a clueless asshole. The next thing you need to understand is you
are not not using the same lexicon as the other people in the news
group. This together with an immense reading comprehension problem
guarantees that communication of concepts won't happen.

Telemundoh: All kooktardery, all the time.
