There is no shortage of Christian programming in most markets. In fact
most of the spectrum that was made available by changes to translator
rules, changes to low power education rules and the provision of new
low power broadcast stations resulted in much of the lower end of the
dial being "cluttered" with religious broadcasters where you once
would hear college or high school stations or translator outputs in
rural markets. I think NPR is simply reinforcing what had been the
original intent of the charter.

So what is your opinion as to why the left wants the "fairness doctrine"
reinstated? You think its so they can get equal air time? Or do you
believe they want to set up low power FM stations to air their point of
view?
They dont need to do that. They already have the major media in their
pocket, TV and print. The only thing they dont control is talk radio.
But they are going to control it. They wont even have to bring in the
"fairness doctrine" to do it. All they need to do, which is being
bounced around at the moment, is to simply change the license renewal
time from 8 yrs to 1 yr, and having someone, perhaps folks like ACORN,
bring allegations of not being beneficial to the community. Thats all
it takes to yank the license. So when you put that threat over a radio
station owner, he either changes his content or closes his station. He
cant afford to close his station, so guess what, the "fairness doctrine"
is in effect implemented. And these arent on the local low power FM
stations. These will be the high power regional stations, even the AM
powerhouses. So your argument of all these low power religious stations
"cluttering" up the lower FM band is pretty much irrelavant. No one
listens to that end of the dial much. NPR is probably one of the only
stations out there that is listened to because liberals dont have much
else to listen to, mainly because stations that run programs like Air
America cant keep advertizers. Capitalists are not going to fund
programming that is communist in nature.
B

Frankly I don't really give a SH**T about what you are saying. I listen
to the FM for music and when I hear a bunch of religious cranks or
wingers taking up valuable air time that could be used to play the
Doors, Zappa or the Dead Kennedy's, I get pretty much ticked off. Thank
you...

Please point to where it says in this artcile he "voted" for "Partial

I looked up dimwit in the dictionary and it states "a stupid or silly
person" so please point to which one you are.

There is no "vote" for partial birth abortion. There have been bills
against the practice. The Obomination has voted against this legislation
at every opportunity that was presented to him and he has spoken out
against limiting partial birth abortion when asked about his position.
His record is solid on this issue.

Here is video of the Obomination speaking on the issue as if you really
need to see it.

A few of my presets that get scanned regularly:

KSDS 88.3
Campus station for San Diego City College

XHITT 88.7
Campus Station for Instituto Tecnologico de Tijuana

KPBS 89.5
SDSU PBS outlet

KCRA 89.9
Santa Monica PBS

KPFK 90.7
Pacifica network

BTW - I haven't found any religious stations down there,
and even our two pirates 96.9 & 106.9 are currently dark.

Actually the "land grab" during the LPFM license windows didn't include only
the EDU segment. I've seen licenses issued to churches and religious
organizations across the dial. And those don't count the dozens of KLUV
satellators strewn across the country.

It seems like Telemundoh has made a couple of new "fans".

He's such a bitter old *******, isn't he? Maybe Jaysus will be calling
him home soon...

It seems you are still a one dimensional character Kookaburra.

Believing in mythical beings is multi-dimensional?

Mythical to you not to me.

You can believe in pink hippos for all I care. Just don't expect me to
believe in them too.

More like multiple gullibility.

Yes, you are very gullible.

Jack Kemp died yesterday. I shook hands with him once when he was
campaigning. His hand literally swallowed mine and it made me feel like
I was a little kid shaking hands with a adult. That hand must have
encompassed a football he was holding.

You never met Jack Kemp so was he mythical person?

BWHAHAHA! Does that question even make sense to YOU? The comparison
doesn't work, but hey, you tried.

I expect this sort of thing to happen with the Obomination as
president.
Things will probably get much worse. Expect to be persecuted for being
Christian one of these days.
One of these days, why not today?
So now your lunacy is referenced to an underlying cause,
not too surprising it would be xianity.
I know that you have never heard of church burnings, defacements,
destruction. It's never happened right? Go stick your red pointy eared
head back in the sand.

Referring to church burnings by those nice conservative KKK types, are
you?

His internally twisted logic is a prime of a paradox

I'm looking forward to the day in which anachronisms such as Telemundoh!
won't be around. These guys do nothing more than raise ghosts that are
better off left buried and dead. For them, it must suck to live such
lives of fear.

What a nice guy wishing me dead. Thanks for showing your true colors.

He just wants you to go up to heaven! LOL.

Way to go, NPR!!!

Keep the BIGOTS from POLLUTING your airwaves!!

I love it!! Take a HIT, RRR Cult!!
I'm sure you do godless scum.

LOL, you seem to have a whole new bunch of fans out there, Telemundoh!
At least you can't whine at me too much about them picking on you..

Telemundoh! will claim that they were recruited to the "godless" cause.
Religious zealots - the one who think there always right and the rest of
us are wrong. They do like to thrive on self-inflicted persecution.

Oh yes, the radio goons will be coming soon to confiscate his receivers
so he can't listen to religious programming.

He probably believes it's going to happen. Maybe he as one of them
sealed up in a box, and buried in his back yard. Meanwhile, he places
his hopes on the Obama BC story taking off and causing Obama's removal
from office.

Maybe a better term for it is delusion, not hope.

I'm trying to think of the last time I was bent on conquest?

You want the government to force people to live by your values.
That's what you're ****ing DOING here.

This is a representative republic built on laws originating in
Christianity and you want to have no values imposed on people so
get
lost anarchist.

So you don't deny it.

You are the one in denial.

You know, I think even your half of this discussion is flying right over
your head.

Your comprehension problems are yours alone.

Pretty quick with the IKYABWAI, Pee-Wee.

You denied being bent on conquest, and in your very next post you pretty
much admit to it.

Your motivation is just to twist and distort what others post.

There's no twisting or distorting. You're just a dishonest little **** in
a Christian suit.

I was always told that folks that dont have a good command of the language
in which they speak, or feel inferior for whatever reason, tend to use
profanity. Is that true? Especially for you?
B

Sometimes yes, many times, no. I have a friend who was an English
teacher for 35 years, and he easily outswears me.
