No, Radio 4VEH was in Haiti. HCJB is in Ecuador.

Whatever happened to them?


I think 4VEH left shortwave altogether circa 1992. Believe they may yet be on
mediumwave and FM.

Is Ecuador the same as Haiti?

HCJB has dedicated most of its efforts to developing local evangelical
stations, since SW was producing ever smaller results and local stations,
particularly FM, are more effective.

It appears to be FM only these days. http://www.radio4veh.org/partenaire.htm

Haiti was an ugly place in 1997 and it hasn't gotten any better since
that time.
