If so, indeed I remember the days when you were here, hopefully all is well on your end.:-) Nothing much has changed, as I'm sure you can imagine, same "person" doing the same tired act.....but other than that - not too bad in here. I like Phil and I think he is a smart guy but he writes terrible radio reviews on the web. I strongly disagree with most of his assessment at radiointel "Phil's Tabletop (radio) Guide. I'm pretty sure his review here is actually a collection of what other people have perviously put out on the web because I think he is capable of better observing and reporting than what is written here. http://www.radiointel.com/phil/2005_phil_table_guide.pdf -- Telamon Ventura, California |

howdy Bushcraftgregg!
yeah it's me... still active in radio... just not in posting LOL. thanks Telamon! if it is any consolation, 4 years later... of the 8 main radios... only 2 remain! and both of those (R75 and R30) underwent revision. SDR seems like the big thing now. FWIW that shortwave modded SRF-59 has a nice low-IF filter sound. ironically i listen to it and single-triode radios much more than any tabletop ![]() regards, phil ![]() |
