It's always been a cheap way to fill the air.
But it also encourages feedback which they would not get
if they didn't do it, as listeners would not think of wriiting in
the multitudinous forms they have now. RCI still has its
WW II pidgeon coop.

As it is RCI is being cut to a shadow of its former self by
the federal government and by the SRC hosts in Montreal.

RCI Viva is an insult to RCI's potential powers.

I gave up on RCI years ago... Time was I used to listen regularly
(especially the weekend programs) and it was time well spent! They had some
great offerings and they were first class. Unfortunately, their end has
come and gone! Now... everytime they send me the new program guide I just
flip it into the dust bin without a second thought.

And I feel the same with regard to Radio Netherlands too!
