Default ? Rest in Peace - Walter Cronkite (1916 - 2009)

Walter Cronkite did not send your friends to Vietnam. That would have
been Lyndon Baines Johnson.

Actually that would have been Dwight David Eisenhower.- Hide quoted text -

....and it was ? John Fitzgerald Kennedy who cemented our commitment to
defeat Communism.
Listen to Silence of the Liberal Fascists - * crickets *

Kennedy may have gotten the ball rolling, but it was Johnson that upped the
ante, sending over a quarter million troops over there during his tenure,
and what? 20% losses? The war was a fiasco. Nobody seemed to know what they
were doing. A war run by committee. With losses of over 50,000 of our kids,
no wonder the war became so unpopular back home. That's a LOT of grieving
families!

As for Walter Cronkite having anything to do with any of it, like they say,
don't shoot the messenger. Vietnam was the first war ever so widely covered.
The first to be basically televised. The first to bring the gore of war into
our homes. It woke us up as a society.

Abraham Lincoln (REPUBLICAN) faught the Cival War for the Freedom of
Black American whom the Democrats wished to enslave. Just as 0baMa0
and the Democrats wish to enslave us all today.

Thank God that a majority of those 500,000 dead were not Americans.
They were Confederates who were fighting FOR BLACK SLAVERY! - They
were the Fathers of the Ku Klux Klan and are the Democrats who faught
AGAINST EQUAL RIGHTS.

It did? We must have fallen back asleep then, cuz Georgie Porgie, Cheney
and their gang of thieves chumped us into ANOTHER fiasco war. (ooops,
make that TWO fiasco wars).

The Bush Crime Family and Halliburton loomed large in all 3 conflicts
mentioned here, and no doubt dozens more. The world would be much safer
if we'd remove the profit motive from war.
