socialism more apparent than among liberals who are "duped" time after
time into supporting "liberators" who turn out to be totalitarians,
and among Left-leaning clerics whose attraction to a secular style of

Some of this book is interesting, although it is apparent that Jeane
has no clue about the financial side of the equation, focusing mostly
on the linguistics of the political buzz words of the day and morphing
them into some kind of "rationalism and reason in politics"?

She fails to credit Nixon for what little success President Carter
enjoyed, by largely ignoring the financial aspects of eliminating
poverty as a role in international politics because business leaders
just assumed that the politicians would do the heavy lifting, and that
their participation in the freedom of the world was not necessary?
