I have a pair of old rubber boots I sometimes wear, if it is muddy when
I am working outside.I also have a pair of white heavy ass thick
insulated U.S.Army, Korean War era ''Mickey Mouse'' boots.

Yesterday, on my way to the food store I saw a 1964 Chevrolet Impala
car.Looked like it still had the original factory paint job, the body
wasen't rusted out, only one or two dings in the chrome strips on the
body of that car.It was running Good, no smoke was coming out of the
tail pipe either.I was driving my 1983 Dodge van right behind that car,
right up at the top of the hill from doggy's couch.

Good old Detroit Iron, you just can't beat it!

I don't ever want any Toyotas or any of that furrin brand name crap
vehicles.

I still own two of the three Toyotas I ever had. One, a 1994 Corolla
wagon, has well over 200k miles, all original, and still runs great.
The bets car I've ever owned. The other is a 2005 minivan with 86k
that never has a problem of any kind, unlike my earlier Dodge minivan,
which was a worthless lemon from the word GO. I also had two Ford/
Merc sedans - both crap by the time they reached 100k. The only
reason I do not have my older Toyota, which had over 200k, 40-mile-a-
gallon, trouble free miles on it, was that some butthead smashed into
it and totaled it. It still ran, though. I donated it, and a few
weeks later, I saw someone driving it around with some patchwork on
it. For all I know, it still is operating, with 300-400k miles on it.

That "old Detroit iron" let me down too many times.

I never see any real old furrin name brands of vehicles runnin around
here.My big old full size 1978 Dodge van I bought in 1989 already had
about 184,000 miles on it.The speedometer cable wasen't hooked up to the
rear of the speedometer. The guy I bought the van from said it has at
least twice that many miles on it.He was in the Air Force and he and his
family did a Lot of traveling in that van, all over America. He said he
disconnected the cable in it because it had a kink in it.I bought a good
cable at a junk yard.I have put about 75,000 miles on the van myself.
My 1983 big old full size Dodge van has an original 146,000 miles on
it.I am the second owner of the van.I rebuilt the carburetor last
January because it needed rebuilding.

Bowery Boys. Now there's a collection I'd like to have.
Bela Lugosi once said they were the funniest bunch of boys he's ever watched
and was very honored to have met them. He really admired their work.
Mugs, Sach(Slip), Whitey, Tommy etc ...... always a good memory.
PS ... The last time I saw Huntz Hall (aka Sach/Slip) in anything was a
Flipper episode where he was fishing from a row boat in a polluted inlet.

Personally, I'd be more honoured to meet some gals, rather than some boys.

But then, some of you clown 'tards would indeed be happier to meet some boys.
