Default Suriname - 4990

Radio Apintie, Suriname, 4990, presumed the one here with a Paul McCartney
tune at 0750.

Fairly good N-S conditions here this early morn'.

Thanks for this - I have tried Suriname on 4990 a few late nights
running now, and so far, just weak carriers on SSB. Have not had good
N-S signals now for about a fortnight. In fact, almost everything from
SOTB - including Mexico on 6185 - has been sketchy at best. Only
Brasilia on 11780 has been knocking through.

Had a really good listen to R. Africa yesterday on 15190, though -
sent them a report, see if they respond. They make it easy at their
website, enthusiastically inviting form e-mail reports for postal
QSLs. They even give an example of how to write one, and it includes
almost no detail at all! Mine was considerably better than their
example :-)

CVC 1Africa Zambia on 5925 from 0400-0500 is now about the best
African on the dial, similar signal to V. Nigeria but far better
audio. English too :-)
