When I was in Tokyo, I wanted to go visit that famous Temple thingy, I
forget what the name of it is.
I was walking across a little bridge/pedestrian walk way thingy. There
was a Japanese guy who was wearing brown work clothes, he was carrying a
brown paper bag, his lunch, I suppose.I asked him how to get to that
Temple? He put a mean looking look on his face, he set his paper bag
down.I don't know if he thought about wanting to fight me, or whatever.I
wasen't interested in starting an International incident.I didn't say
anything else, I walked on by him.I still didn't find that Temple
thingy.

Doggy just now took me out in the front yard. She ran to the front of my
yard and took a poop. Then we walked around in the yard for a few
minutes. That old country boy from Edwards, his wife was sitting on the
front porch over there.I told doggy, Now go pee, dog.She took a pee and
I clapped my hands.

Him your son or him the thief? Was the thief employed by your son?

Dave - that was bad. We're talking about "The Word"....have you no
scruples? Don't answer. :-P

No reason to walk on tippy toes. The Word shall make you free. If
freedom and religion can coexist, humor must be involved. Rigidity
invites power trips. Jesus is not about power trips.

I think you know me well enough to know I don't tippy toe. I just
"try" to be nice and civil. I will somewhat disagree with you though
on the "Jesus is not about power trips." I know ( I think) what you
are getting at and there is some validity to what you said, but make
no mistake about it Dave, when he comes back (and he will) - he is
going to be on the biggest "Power Trip" this universe has ever known
and it won't be pleasant for some. At least if that silly book that
was written under divine inspiration by the Lord himself is correct.
Yeppers - I think "Power Trip" just about hits it on the head.

I am not comfortable with your characterization of "Hanging Judge Jesus"
and/or "Rambo with Stigmata" Jesus. If you truly understood
non-violence and humility, you'd agree.

A lot of people glom onto Jesus because he has star power.

"Glom unto Me" I think he says.

A bible makes a great survival supply of thin paper
to use as tinder in fire starting.
I use to slip one in the backpack when I went hiking for just such
application.

Or rolling papers (avoid the gold binding)

You dislike the Bible so much that you are willing too make up a
ludicrous lie in hopes that someone is dumb enough to believe you?
Surely you jest. Just on the outside chance....oh never mind....I know
you're lying...lol.

The pages of a Bible are wayyyy too thin and would be the last type of
firestarter to use. If someone if going to take up all that room in
their pack to place a Bible (of all things) for tinder...lol...they
would have to be borderline mentally challenged IMO. Why carry all
that weight and take up pack space when you could carry a little tin
packed with cotton balls coated in petroleum jelly? You I guess? ;-P
