Six teens drowned in Louisiana. 5 boys and one girl. Just out having fun on a
summer day, trying to keep cool. Apparently none could swim and they came upon a dropoff in the river. Imagine the absolute freaking horror as they tried to save one another. Please, be careful out there. This hits home in a way as a friend of mine was swept off the pier here during a storm 41 years ago on July 28 and drowned. My thoughts are with them, their families, and the people of Louisiana. |

18 wheeler crashes into house in Magee,Mississippi That happened yesterday.I just now saw and heard on WJTV noon tv news, a World War Two Veteran, Mr.Sellers, was sleeping in his house (his house that the 18 wheeler crashed into) when the 18 wheeler came crashing through there. That was a close call, too close for comfort! cuhulin |
