Well, not entirely worthless ... there is the cost of the carbon
(charcoal briquette, carbon dioxide, charred wood, etc.) and the power
to produce the diamond ... I think the article mentioned they could be
produced at the cost of about $5 USD a caret ... a BIG 10 caret diamond
would be $50 USD before manufacturing markup, shipping and dealer markup.
