I had to order a replacement power jack for the receiver, and called
them over a month ago, they told me part was on back order for a month
or so. I called them this morning, part will be in stock next week,
and the ordering experience was pleasant and non-irritating, even
though the order reps are in the Phillipines (bummer for our people).

I called 1-800-222-7669 (number was given to me by Universal Radio
even though they are not Sony Reps). You get a menu, English or
spanish, and a few other menus, with no delay between menus. Finally
ou get to the rep, and the wait was no more than 10 seconds or so.

Rep spoke good English, and the whole ordering took about 5 or 6
minutes, not bad at all. There was a customer survey after the order
and I gave them high marks in all categories, unlike most others I
have experienced before, even when they were located in Georgia.

FYI, the DC Power Jack costs $4.11 + 2.50 Shipping + .59 cents sales
tax. Part Number is:
