Hearing a Computer Voice 'Glitch' on 4426 kHz [USB] @ 0610 UTC
on 19 Mayo 2010 S-Meter : +10dB ~ +20dB with SIO 555 and Very Good Audio First : This was NOT a 'normal' Time for this Frequency for any of the assigned NOAA/NWS Ocean Weather Stations http://www.weather.gov/om/marine/hfvoice.htm Chesapeake (NMN) 4426 kHz @ 0330Z, 0515Z, 0930Z Pt. Reyes (NMC) 4426 kHz @ 0430Z, 1030Z Note - U.S. Coast Guard [USCG] Broadcasts National Weather Service [NWS] Highseas Forecasts and Storm Warnings... Second : The Computer Voice was Male speaking in American English. Third : The Computer Voice was NOT saying Words -but- spelling-out the Words : -example- "South" -was- S O U T H -example- 77 : 20 West Longitude -was- 7 7 2 0 W L O N G IMHO : Really needed to Record-It and Play-It-Back several times to Write-It-Down and then Read-It to Understand-It as Complete Words and Number Sets -versus- a string of : l e t t e r s a n d n u m b e r s 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 . . . |
