I am monitoring a s-9 audio morse code transmission on about 5.799 MHz
It is not a CW signal as no BFO is needed to hear it. It is a scrambled/coded transmission and appears to be random letters but is not 5 letter groups. Any ideas??? Chuck KA6UUP |

After searching around I have determined it was a Cuban "cut number"
transmission. It was so strong I was receiving it on my rxvr with the antenna disconnected. Excellent code practice ;-}} Hils wrote: On 2012-02-23 06:30, ka6uup wrote: It is 5 letter groups after all. ka6uup wrote: I am monitoring a s-9 audio morse code transmission on about 5.799 MHz It is not a CW signal as no BFO is needed to hear it. I find that "cutting" numbers simply creates more of the damned
things. |
