When they are the dominant feature we say the sun has reversed polarity. The sun is made of giant bands of magnetism and plasma boiling up from the interior. There is no Nickel Iron core at the center like da oith. Let it do it's thang, I can't stop it. Sometimes I look at my compass to see if Earth's magnetic field/poles is about to flip flop. |
