And yes, we have been selling the Taiwanese weapons for years. Another
thing that has been in place for *years* (37 years to be exact), is the
accepted policy that no president or president-elect is supposed to deal
with Taiwan directly -- and this policy has been in place and followed
for all those years by Democrats AND republicans -- so please try not to
take a cheap partisan shot to single out just the Democrats -- because
you would be wrong.

Finally, the people you called out above were not the only ones "having
a hissy fit"; the Chinese themselves have filed a formal complaint to
Washington, an official international incident "hissy fit".

Nice try, but causing an international incident even before he was sworn
in shows that trump is STILL an unqualified and dangerous clown.

It was obvious to most (except perhaps trump's poorly educated) that
unqualified trump's BIG mouth and thin-skinned tweets would cause
trouble for the country. I just didn't think it would happen this soon.

It seems that Beijing has published an article saying that trump's
Taiwan call could "cause trouble" for America. Apparently this means the
Chinese are taking this issue more seriously than some here that call it
a mere "hissy fit".

Dark days for this country -- starting sooner than we thought. :-(
