Anyone know anything about the display light circuit in the Alaska 168.

Button lights work fine.

Yup. They're incandescent bulbs, and burn out from time to time. You can
get Blaupunkt parts and manuals at www.midwest-usa.com (if you're in the
U.S., anyway...).

IIRC you'll need a very small Torx screwdriver to open the faceplate up.
