Default SATELLITE vs TERRESTRIAL

Does anyone else think that the major media companies would find XM and Sirius
a threat to their advertising sales. They gotta be worried. The internet will do
the samething to televison and telecoms.

Go ahead, say Clear channel. They own a TINY piece of XM. Not much.

They may not own much right now, but they have 2 people on the XM
board.

Not yet but maybe some day. I will say this, I got XM radio last Saturday
and I absolutely LOVE it. I got SO damn sick of all the commercials on
regular AM/FM radio I could puke. They can eat me if they think I'm
listening to 20-22 minutes of commercials per hour. Screw 'em.

When sat radio first came out I said I wasn't interested. I was wrong, it's
absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it. It's well worth the money
IMHO.

I can't see internet radio taking much away from AM/FM but Sat radio? Yes, in the
future unless the regular stations back WAY off on all the commercials and
I don't see that happening in the near future....

Sat radio rocks!

Maybe but people would bail on it if that happened.
It would be suicide, like what the AM/FM stations are doing now, commiting
suicide....

XM is quickly approaching 1 million paying customers. Serius better get with
the program or prepare for a "Fire Sale" as I doubt they will make it. As XM
gets bigger...the competition seems to get dimmer and dimmer...Eddie
