Women. Who needs them? Don't get me wrong, they have their purposes. (nod
nod, wink wink).

A blonde female motorist gets pulled over by a blonde female cop. The cop
says, I need to see your driver's license. The motorist says what's it look
like? The cop gets frustrated and says "it has your picture on it". The
motorist looks through her purse, finds and opens her compact, and stares
into the compact's mirror. The motorist hands the cop the compact and says,

Women.

I actually can appreciate your humor, though I'm sure you weren't
looking to charm me. I would like to offer the following:

1) I have a fantastic voice that is rather deep
2) I went into Universal specifically for a Drake R8 and had $2,000
ready to hand over. I couldn't get anyone to deal with me, and I was
only about 21 and not as assertive (read: bitchy) as I would be now.
I really don't think I imagined the sexism... I noticed every time I
asked a sales guy something, he would answer my uncle who was with me.
It was the weirdest thing. This was 12 years ago, and perhaps
they've changed. (Though I admit it's time I let go of the grudge)
3) My 2010 is about 8 years old, and I had read that it was not
expected to last that long. That's why I asked if it was worth
repairing or how could I get something comparable for the money since
they don't make new ones. I don't see the harm in posting questions
that are on topic, if naive, to this group.
4) Abortion? Egads, all I wanted was a radio.
