Default Justice Antenna with Satellite 800

Hey all...

I'm looking for the best way to maximize my Justice (C.Crane) antenna
with the Grundig Satellite 800. I've tried looking for the so-called
"sweet spot" per the instruction booklet to use the ferrite bar, but
have yet to find it. Has anyone had any experience in this
area...finding the "sweet spot." Wait...this is sounding kind of
prurient. No...I'm referring to the radio's "sweet spot."

My guess is that you can't get the ferrite sender close enough to the
internal ferrite rod. You could try hard wiring it, or alternately, you
would have to open the box and put the sender neared to the internal rod.

KM,

The 'sweet spot' is on the Left Side of the Grundig Satellit 800M over
the Speaker.

The GS800M's built-in AM/MW Ferrite Rod Antenna (FRA) is positioned
Front-to-Back.
- - - Most radios the FRA is positioned Side-to-Side.

The Justice AM Antenna's Coupling Coil has to be positioned
Front-to-Back over teh GS800M's FRA for the best inductive coupling.

To find out more about the GS800M with the Justice AM Antenna, take a
look at the "Grundig Satellit 800 Millennium eGroup on YAHOO!
