![]() Jerry Bianchi wrote: (Andre) wrote in message . com... It will be available late October. Tell me what's cooking inside for the 2004 Passport to World Band Radio? If there is improvement and new updates on the publication, I will place an order. But if there is no improvement or no changes on the publication, Larry Magne of Passport to World Band Radio can keep his book and I will keep my dollar on my pocket. Andre I agree Andre, The 2003 edition was at least three years out of date for many of the listings. For example, Radio exterior de Espana has not broadcast on 9055 for at least three years If you are referring to 6055, as far as I recall they were using that frequency as late as this past Spring. That is one of their traditional Winter season frequencies. We'll have to see what the upcoming season brings at the end of this month. , also they paired back to one broadcast in English a day rather than three as listed. Many of the BBC broadcasts, DW and Radio France schedules are no longer in effect just to name a few, and these are the majors. I would hate to venture a guess how out of date the others are. Waiting till it gets to the book store and check out some known broadcasts before I'll purchase again. In my mind they are not doing their home work. Jerry B |

If Larry Magne finds difficult to dispose the 2003 and 2004 issues of
"Passport to World Band Radio", he should be charitable, donate or sell it for $1 per copy for used and old copies of his book to the third world countries like South America, Africa and Asia. Lots of poor countries will benefit his book in the remote corners of the world instead of throwing it in the bin for recycle and people will appreciate his book in the poorest countries of the world. He should remember 75% of the world population is located in third world countries. People on those countries can afford on their own money currencies. I think he can still recover expenses in his publication and he will very popular in those countries. White Bufallo |

And your point is?
"White Bufallo" wrote in message om... Larry Magne is not only selling his book in the United States of America alone but to the rest of the world, he should consider if he makes a price increase it affects prices in other world currencies, especially in third world countries like South America, Africa and Asia. They will find difficult to purchase that book in their own money currencies. They have to purchase more U.S. dollar to import that book even it is a used or old copies. White Bufallo |

There is no way a book of that caliber is going to be very accuurate. The
lead time to press is way to long. If you want accurate frequenceis, ILG or the equivelent is the way to go. The books value lies in its articles, not the station listings. "Jerry Bianchi" wrote in message m... In my mind they are not doing their home work. Jerry B |
