The only thing I hear on the 14.100 beacon frequency is the beacons.

Sorry - should have added 45N 75W, to make my comment meaningful.

I hope anyone sending anything but beacon CW intervals on 14.100 gets
hit by lightning!

Iv'e heard the trash and the beacons on my Kenwood ts-450-sat.
The beacon freq's need to be clear of anything but the beacons.

That's not really the way it works on the HF ham bands. No one has sole
'rights' to any particular frequency.

The beacons are atomated and occupy a single frequency in each band of
opperation. They are located all over the world and are opperated as an aid
to all HF users. You have said that you don't want to see the ham bands end
up like the CB band but now you are advocating the "I don't care about that,
just walk on them" attitude.
