Hi,
Does anyone know if Radio Nederland was down today?? It usually comes on between 10:30 am to 12:30 pm EDT (1430 - 1630 UTC) at 15220 KHz. I couldn't pick it up at all today on any of my receivers (Sat-800, DX-398 and Grundig 400PE) and it usually comes in very strong. We did have stormy weather today but I was still able to pick up the BBC (15190 KHz) with my Sat-800 although it was very bad. Thanks in Advance Abb N VE3003SWL Windsor, Ontario, Canada |

Hi,
Well, today (Oct 16) all seems finally well again with the 1430 - 1625 UTC broadcast of RN - It's coming in quite strong again. Yesterday I could barely pick it up on my Sat-800 and on the 14th, I couldn't pick it up at all. Strange..... Abb N VE3003SWL Windsor, Ontario, Canada "AbbN" wrote in message .. . Perhaps not strange at all when one considers that the ionosphere has been at storm conditions. Abb N VE3003SWL Windsor, Ontario, Canada "AbbN" wrote in message .. . The ionosphere has been at storm conditions for quite a while, hasn't it? |

The ionosphere has been at storm conditions for quite a while, hasn't it? Pretty much so it would seem. A brief respite, then back to the storm. Still lots to be heard at times though.
