Listening to a steady but distorted signal on 9935kHz, 03:25.
Woman's voice singing a very lengthy song - Egyptian in nature? I can find no listing in any database I have for this frequency. And on that subject: My favorite database (ILG) has slipped noticeably in accuracy since the time change. ANyone have any idea when it will likely update again? Tony,
I think this is Macedonia Radio (Greece). Very few stations are listed to this frequency. They have a 35KW tranmitter. Hope this helps, may explain the Mid Eastern style music too. Apparently with their 500 kw transmitter from the Sirjan site. Steve Holland, MI Drake R7, R8 and R8B http://www.iserv.net/~n8kdv/dxpage.htm Tony Meloche wrote in message ... My research strongly implied it was one or the other, but not being certain to this moment, I can't log it, of course. Given the music, and the Ramadan holy days, I do suspect it was Iran, most likely.
