Essential maintenance work at the Shepparton transmitter site of Radio
Australia requires a total shutdown commencing at 2330 UTC today, Thursday 13 November. Radio Australia hopes that normal service will be resumed by no later than 0400 UTC on Friday 14 November. Radio Australia's English broadcasts to SE Asia on 13620 kHz at 2200-2400 UTC and 17775 kHz at 0100-0230 UTC will not be affected. English to Papua New Guinea and the SW Pacific will also be sustained on 9660 kHz and 12080 kHz respectively from Brandon.
