Is there some indicator on the DX-398 when you are running from AC power vs
Battery. I have hooked up the radio to the adapter and expected some type of
indicator? Read the manual and did not see anything?

I wish that were the case with my DX-392. When the power plug fails to connect
properly with the flaky jack, though, I get a flashing E.

Oh, I had thought that was a bug, not a feature. Yes, I know that's
probably coveredin the instructions.
