Oh my....
How did this thread deteriorate. Don't get so upset folks. This is
what I found from the ITU. Several countries are signatories so I
would guess it is the most accurate info.
World Band - Frequencies allocated for International Broadcasting.
Wide Band - A radio capable of receiving or transmitting on a large
spectrum of frequencies.
Shortwave - Frequencies allocated for International Broadcasting
including utility, military and civil brodcasting stations.
MF (Medium Frequency)- Defined as any frequency or mode between .3 Mhz
to 3 Mhz.
HF (High Frequency) - Defined as any frequency or mode between 3 Mhz
to 30 Mhz.
