Default SX-88-Update

About 4 hours to go on this auction and it's finally up to $5000. I
wonder if the bidding might just get a little more exciting at the end.

Under an hour to go, and still just over 5K. I say it will hit at least 7K.

Anyone else?

It jumped from $5000 to over $7000 in the last 1 minute.
What it must be like to be rich.

Crazy, isn't it? Like the Yaesu FRG7700 that got bid up to $1,000,
while Burghardt Amateur Center has one for $199!

Interesting thing is that this was the same guy who had the SX-88 that Joe Walsh, WB6ACU, bought.

Interesting to have one SX-88 I suppose, but this guy had *two* of them.

Wonder what the rest of his collection looks like?

Hi Steve,

I have one here that I have been doing a total restore on- new silk screened
panel, dials, full recapping etc. They are a bear to work on, and not nearly
as interesting as an SX-115- there are just fewer of them- perhaps 60 in the
world.
