what are these worth? The Kiwa filter lists for US$20 and Kiwa will install it for $35. Add shipping and handling and you might be looking at $80-$90 for the upgrade cost. An alternative approach is the "Poor Man's Kiwa" mod - ideally combined with the "Switchable Filter" mod - very low cost if you can do it yourself and it's easier to do than replacing the filter. For recent stats on eBay selling prices of DX-394's, visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/RADIOS...4/message/2041. Top recent price for a DX-394 with a suite of mods including the Kiwa filter is $265.
