Right now, I have an Antenna Supermarket Eavesdropper-T hooked up to my
R-75. It seems to perform quite well. First question is about maintenance. Do I ever have to do anything to the antenna periodically? How long will it last? Next question; I'd like to put up another antenna to see if I can pull in better signals on broadcast stations that the Eavesdropper-T has trouble with. Would a longwire be the answer? Any recommendations for length? Can I just use speaker wire? Should I twist the 2 wires together? Can I just staple it to my eaves, under the gutters, or is this a bad idea? Or should I go for a completely different type of antenna? Thanks for any help. Lenny |
