(1) 4.790 14:00 unknown language excellent signal strength playing music I
suspect this may be Sri Lanka but cannot ID the station and Passport shows nothing that seems to fit. Any idea ? (2) I lost the files I downloaded to help identify stations - websites with current information ? THANKS very much all. |

I logged it at 16:46 utc but it was still going strong a half hour later. I
didn't stick around very long. It was the music they were playing and the fact that they did not ID very often. Sri Lanka has numerous frequencies in 60 meters . "N8KDV" wrote in message ... Don't know what you were hearing, but RRI Fak Fak was on 4789.98 or so until
they signed off at 1400. Chances are they will be there tomorrow. I've seen no reports of Sri Lanka on that channel.
