GA,

I would now appear that Grundig AG (Germany) is using Sangean
(Taiwan) as a Design Engineering Service Provider -and-
Using Sangean's (Taiwan) manufacturing facilities that are now
located inside CHINA (PRC) for their production work.

Maybe Grundig AG (Germany) is doing some additional Design
Engineering Work on these basic Sangean Radios; but their
are/remain Sangean Radios.

Grundig AG (Germany) gets some good Radios to Sell in the
Euro-Land Consumer Market. Sangean gets a High Sales Volume
for the Radios by using the GRUNDIG Brand Name and a 'better'
Profit by using the GRUNDIG Brand Name.

TBL: Good Business For Both Companies.

These are Truly 'world' Band Radios )

TBL: The 'new' Grundig AG (Germany) Yacht Boy Radios are . . .
in-fact Re-Badged SANGEAN "ProTravel" Radios.

And who did Sangean re-badge them from?
