I am going to be in the montreal area soon, and i was wondering if anyone
knows of any stores with a good selection of scanners. specifically i am
interesting in the icom ic-r3. i am not sure if the ic-r3 is going to be my
finally choice, so i would like to explore what other options will be
availible to me when i'm there, and so i can do some research before hand.

There isn't much here, beyond Radio Shack.

The only place that I can think of is Radio H.F. and it's a fairly
small operation that I don't think keeps a lot in stock. I don't even
know if they carry much in scanners. But check out the website, and even
ask Sheldon if he's got what you want. If he can't help you, maybe he
can point you to where else in town, if any, they carry such things.
