Default Getting Rid of AM breakthu

I have one of the $10 Bell & Howell 9 band radios. Seems relatively
sensitive but AM is getting into all the shortwave bands.

Is there anyway to modify it to prevent this?
Does it have any preslection filter or hi-pass filters?

Had one,
No front end
everything was everywhere on the band..
- Since you'd have to first shield it,
then build a pre selector for it,

- Suggest you just buy a slightly better radio...!
