Good going Tommyknocker. Some of the broadcasts from the Phillipines in
Tagalog are strange. It is such a mixture of languages. There are many english words and phrases intersperse with native tagalog, so that it is a readilly identifiable language. I don't visit below 9400 very often since there are so many propoganda broadcasts down there. It is a shame there isn't more english spoken in asia. I heard a radio china broadcast the other day with an english speaker who sounded like he was a voice of america employee s. Amazing. Strength and Honor "tommyknocker" wrote in message ... I only get the chance to DX once or twice a week, when I wake up early enough to hear some good DX on 49m and 31m. I haven't tried receiving Africa during the daytime above 10 Mhz, but I should.
