Yeah, that disorder has lead me into many misadventures too. I keep
wanting to buy NiMH D cells for my portables that take that size even
though I know the NiCad cells I already have do the job quite nicely
and, due to self-discharge, the NiMH cells would need to be recharged
almost as often anyway. Even knowing all this, I still look at 1800mAh
vs 7500mAh and feel compelled to go for the more power solution.
