Am I missing something here ?

SSTV is fun. The MMSSTV program is free.

Wasn't SSTV out and in CQ in the 60's or 70's in monocolor from some company
named Robot

I have a Robot unit. It's beautifully made and is loaded with TTL chips on a
well-designed board, with lots of controls and I/O ports. It's for SSTV
transmission and reception.

I've never tried it because I don't hear that 20M group here. Also, FSTV on UHF
has grabbed the TV hams.
