What *exactly* is a "neocon"?

I'd prefer a definition that will endure more than 24 hours. I've
seen too many times when "fighting fundamentalists" and political
liberals would change a definition to fit their own preferance at a
given time.

IE the fundamentalists' use of the word "New-Evangelical". Follow
that word from 1957 till now as defined by Bob Jones and David Cloud.
What it amounts to is that anyone who disagrees with their
narrow-minded ideology is a "new-evangelical".

I'm seeing the same narrow-mindedness from political liberals. Anyone
who is not a political liberal is a neocon.

Neo indicates "new". I'm not new to conservatism. Been here forever.
Till the "other side" can produce something better than Clintons and
